We keep developing your website after launch, or take over the agreed support of a site that already exists. Optional SEO support: €600 per month, including 19% VAT. We use around ten working hours per month as a guide to the effort involved; tasks and priorities are agreed. Three-month minimum, then monthly. Reports are provided quarterly as standard, or monthly on request. Together we decide which technical improvements, content and checks do the most for your goal in a given month.
Development and marketing sit together at WebAktive: Oleg looks after SEO and marketing, Pavel after the technical side of the website. About the team
What ongoing support is, and what a one-off setup is not
A new website can launch with the technical SEO fundamentals in place. That does not produce a standing plan for new content, shifting search demand or technical problems that appear later.
A retainer creates a recurring frame for exactly that work. At the start we establish the baseline and define what is included. The scope follows your website and the resources available; not every business needs new pages or a full technical review every month.
What the work covers
Around ten working hours a month are a guide to the effort, not a fixed bank of hours; the work covers analysis, prioritisation, implementation and reporting. We can fix technical SEO problems, improve existing copy, remove contradictions, rework internal links and check how your company is represented in selected AI answers.
New SEO pages, longer articles and translations can be part of the retainer too. They are planned inside the agreed time budget; the monthly fee does not include an unlimited number of pages, articles or languages. A larger task can take up a substantial part of the month's budget, or be spread over several agreed steps.
How the month is organised
We work in agreed blocks. After a change we check whether search engines pick the reworked page up and whether any dependable signal appears. Not every adjustment can be judged on visitor numbers a few days later. Where there is little data, we say what can already be checked and what still has to be observed.
You get a report in plain language quarterly as standard, or monthly on request: which pages changed, what was implemented, what the available data shows, and what we recommend next.
A working cycle with decisions you can follow
Review: We look at the search data available, anomalies, and feedback on enquiries. Missing or unreliable data is named as a limitation rather than papered over.
Prioritise: We pick the next tasks by relevance, effort and dependencies. Sometimes a sign-off or a piece of information from your side is the prerequisite.
Implement: Agreed content, links or technical changes get done. Requests outside the scope are discussed before they are started.
Check: We record what was implemented, whether it works technically, and what the data shows. A change over time is not, on its own, proof of the cause.
What the retainer can cover
Depending on the agreement: improving existing service pages, preparing new topics, adding internal links, or implementing technical tasks. Coordinating with your specialists is part of it when technical content needs their approval.
A monthly plan is not a promise of a fixed number of articles or links. A necessary fix can be worth more than another page of text. The concrete services and limits are described in the quote.
What is agreed separately
Substantial development work, photography, ongoing social media management and running Google Ads are not part of the SEO and GEO entry package. Neither is the advertising budget itself. Any additional services and extra paid time are agreed before the work starts.
Hosting, domain, email and third-party software are separate from the SEO scope too. Checking how your company is represented in AI answers, on the other hand, sits inside the agreed time budget. More: GEO for businesses.
Minimum term and ending the service
The minimum term is three months, followed by monthly continuation. After the minimum term, you can end the service at the end of a service month. Please let us know about a week beforehand if possible; this is a planning request, not an additional mandatory notice period. No additional costs arise without prior agreement. All prices and how they are separated are on the pricing page.
What is already prepared while the website is built
During development we take care of the agreed page structure, page titles and descriptions, headings, internal links, the XML sitemap, robots.txt, canonicals and the connections between language versions. A relaunch adds the redirects the previous addresses need. Structured data, image optimisation and the agreed connection of Search Console and web analytics are part of that technical groundwork too.
This work creates the conditions for search. It guarantees neither immediate indexing nor particular positions. The support that follows deals with new findings, further content and improvements after the start. More: technical SEO.
When a separate initial analysis makes sense
If we are to examine an existing website for the first time, a separate initial analysis can be agreed. Its scope and price are in the individual quote. The ongoing checks inside the monthly retainer belong to the agreed time budget instead. A separate initial analysis is never billed on top without being agreed.
When changes can be judged
The first three months are an agreed period of work and observation. Some improvements take effect earlier, others need longer. Search demand, competition, the starting position and the pace of implementation all shape how it develops. We promise neither a fixed number of new customers nor a particular recommendation from an AI system.
Working with an in-house team
In larger companies, copy and changes often need technical or legal sign-off. We define who collects the feedback and which decisions are needed.
The goal is a task list that can actually be worked. If a sign-off is missing, the task stays visibly open; it is not reported as completed SEO work. A traceable process helps both sides spend time and budget well.
A project reference: operations and marketing are different jobs
For alkon, being able to maintain news and job listings in-house was an important website requirement. That is a good illustration of why content management and ongoing SEO development are different tasks: an editable system makes upkeep easy; an SEO plan decides which changes make sense from the point of view of search demand. No ongoing SEO contract with alkon is implied by the example. See the alkon project.
FAQ
How much work is included per month?
We use around ten working hours per month as a guide to the effort involved, including analysis, prioritisation, implementation and the report. The actual effort can vary; if substantially more is needed regularly, we propose an extended scope in advance. Services, rhythm, responsibilities and how additional tasks are handled are set down before the start.
Is there a minimum term?
The minimum term is three months, followed by monthly continuation. After the minimum term, you can end the service at the end of a service month. Please let us know about a week beforehand if possible; this is a planning request, not an additional mandatory notice period.
Do we get a report?
Yes, quarterly as standard or monthly on request: a summary of the pages that changed, what was implemented, what the available data shows and what we recommend next.
Can SEO start without a new website build?
Yes, provided the existing site can sensibly be worked on and the necessary access exists. A rebuild is not a blanket prerequisite.
What does your website need next?
