Most SEO audits are a tool export with a logo on it. Four hundred issues, no ranking, no reasoning, and no idea which three would actually move anything. The value is in the prioritisation, which is the part tools cannot do.
What the audit covers
- crawling, indexing and status codes
- canonicals, redirects and duplicate URL variants
- rendering and what exists without JavaScript
- site architecture and internal linking
- content coverage against actual search demand
- cannibalisation between your own pages
- structured data validity
- Core Web Vitals from field data
- backlink profile and any risk in it
- hreflang, if the site is multilingual
How findings are ranked
Every finding gets assessed on impact if fixed, risk if ignored, effort to implement, and what it depends on. That produces a sequence rather than a list.
A canonical tag pointing every page at the home page outranks two hundred missing alt attributes, even though the tool reports two hundred of one and one of the other.
Written for the people who fix it
Developer findings name the affected template, give an example URL, state expected behaviour and define acceptance criteria. Content findings say which page, which query, and what is missing.
An audit that requires a follow-up call to become actionable was not finished.
What you receive
A prioritised plan with the reasoning, ticket-ready technical items, and a walkthrough where we answer questions and disagree productively about sequencing if you see it differently.
Re-checking
Fixes get verified after deployment. "Deployed" and "working in production" diverge more often than anyone expects, and an unverified fix is a finding you will rediscover in six months.
FAQ
How long does it take?
One to three weeks depending on site size and how quickly we get access to analytics and search console.
Do you implement the fixes?
If you want us to. Otherwise your team gets specifications precise enough to work from.
Is an audit worth it for a small site?
For a very small site, often not. A short review of the obvious problems is usually better value.
