Research that ends in a URL map, not a spreadsheet

A keyword list is not a strategy. The useful output is a map: which pages should exist, what each is for, and which query each one owns. Without that, you get six pages competing for the same term and none of them winning.

What we produce

  • searches grouped by intent, not by volume
  • an assessment of commercial value per group
  • a URL map assigning one job to each page
  • gaps where content should exist and does not
  • overlaps where existing pages compete with each other

Intent first

Four questions matter more than the volume column: does this person want information, a comparison, a supplier, or a specific product? A page written for one intent rarely satisfies another, and search engines have become good at telling the difference.

We check what currently ranks for a term. If the results are all guides, a service page will not break in regardless of optimisation — the query has been judged informational.

Commercial value

Volume is a poor proxy for worth. We weigh each group against your margins, sales capacity and what a customer is worth, and against how realistic ranking is given who currently holds the results.

A term you could rank for in three months and that produces two qualified enquiries a week beats one you might reach in two years.

Cannibalisation

Where several of your own pages target the same query, they split signals and none performs. We identify those and recommend consolidating, differentiating or redirecting.

This is one of the most common findings on established sites, and one of the cheapest to fix.

German-language specifics

German keyword research is not English research translated. Compound nouns change how people search, singular and plural behave differently, and the formal or informal register affects which phrasing appears. Umlaut and non-umlaut spellings both occur and need checking.

What you receive

A prioritised map you can act on: what to build first, what to consolidate, what to leave. Plus the reasoning, so the next decision does not require us.

FAQ

How many keywords should we target?

The wrong question. Aim for a coherent set of pages, each owning a cluster.

Do you use paid tools?

Yes, alongside search console data, actual results pages and what your sales team hears from customers.

How often should this be redone?

A full review annually, with adjustments when the offer or market changes.
